20 December 2015 on the basis of the Sumy state University hosted scientific conference for students “the First step in science”. Law faculty students participated in the section “State and law”. In total, there were 8 reports of young scholars of diverse subjects. So, following the results of voting, Alexander Zaporozhets, a student of the first course, with the theme of the report “Problems of legal protection of men in the context of gender equality” took the III place.
Julia Ragulina, student of II-year student, presented a paper on “problems of implementation of administrative – territorial reform in Ukraine and ways of their decision” and took second place.
Won Edward Pronsky, student of the second course, with the hot topic “anti-Corruption activity in Ukraine. Methods of struggle with corruption in foreign countries”.
All participants were awarded appreciation for active participation in the conference, and winners – diplomas and valuable gifts.
In General, O. M. Reznik, Deputy Dean of the faculty of law for scientific work, emphasized the correctness of the choice of the winner, since the students themselves chose the most interesting performances by secret ballot.
A. Zaporozhets, a student of the first-year student shared her impressions: “the Experience of playing in this conference will be useful for preparation to participate in future conferences. For students And the third year this event has really become the first step in science”.
