Teaching and learning activity through the student`s eyes

October 24 Faculty of Law carried out the conference «Teaching and learning activity through the student`s eyes».

Conference was attended by: university and faculty administration, student dean`s office and delegates of training groups.

Before the conference student dean conducted a polling among the students in which were raised the most important issues. You can review the results in attached file. During the conference everyone could ask the question which worrying him directly to HEE administration and immediately get an answer.

Students were more interested in such questions as:

  • conducting obligatorily private tuitions in English;
  • necessity of visiting physical trainings in case of attendance sport section;
  • organization of hot meals at cafeteria of N-building;
  • additional 6 points for students who work at law clinic.

Congratulates for grant holders

November 15 was passed solemnities where students of SSU were congratulated with grant appointments of head of regional state administration. Young scientists and  activists of SSU found yourselves among the 40 best students from 28 educational establishments of І-IV accreditation level. Among the grant holders is a 5th year student of faculty of Law Victoriya Shapovalova. Grant of head of regional state administration was established in 2004 for the purpose of moral and material stimulation of the best students who showed special success in studying, scientific, public and sport activities. Candidatures of the future grant holders take a view on the commission meeting for appointment the grants of the head of RSA.

Congratulations to the winners!

28 September event “Fun starts” among the faculty and staff of Sumy state University. They were the last stage of the sports contest “Health”, which took place at the University during the academic year. Teachers of the faculty of law was clever and took the first place!

During the competition they showed the best results in such kinds of sport: football – i place, volley ball – i place, tennis – i place.

Good results the faculty of law have achieved in: ski – II place, swimming – III place, basketball – III place.

Youth project «DUYA»

September 25 in a boardroom of Hlukhiv O.Dovzhenko National Pedagogigal University was passed presentation of youth project «DUYA»(Debate University of Youth Activity).

Student of Faculty of Law Liliya Dergachova appeared with a report: «Practical experience of organization and realization of youth debate events in Sumy State University».

Event was attended by students, lecturers of HEE, rector`s assistant in work with youth Volodymyr L`ubyvyi, representatives of educational department and  of  HEE Youth centre, senior pupils of Hlukhiv and Krolevets` region general educational schools, and also honorary guests – president of regional military patriotic club «Courage» Oleg Lata, and the head of Gluhiv City Council administration in family, youth and sport affairs Roman Zaytsev.

A happy journey, graduates!

July 4 on the Faculty of Law was the total graduation from specialization «Jurisprudence».

Jutist university degree were gotten by:

55 junior specialists,

78 bachelors,

29 specialists,

10 masters,

14 graduates got first class honours degree (among them 6 bachelors and 8 specialists).

Among graduates are 6 foreign nationals.

Akso this year faculty of Law realized first graduation of 23 masters in specialization FESM.

Solomnity was attended by four postgraduate students of faculty of Law doctorate who successfully defended master`s theses this year.

From SSU university administration graduates were greeted by pro-rector of scientific-pedagogical work and organization of extracurricular activities – Olena Viktorivna Korol`. Faculty of Law dean, Doctor of Laws Professor Anatoliy Mykhaylovych Kulish wished young jurists worthily bear the title of SSU Faculty of Law graduate and success during the official career. Party was finished by student dean of Faculty of Law Dmytro Horbatenko who together with graduates announced jurist oath.

Regulations disciplines developed in accordance with the “General requirements for the conclusion of the work program of discipline”. In section 2, which defined the general requirements for the conclusion of regulation module-rating system for monitoring and evaluation of the course.

Regulations communicated to the students at the beginning of the semester and during his unchanged!

Regulations remain the departments for which assigned one or other academic disciplines.
