From October 2022, the Department of Foreign Languages of Sumy State University will implement a grant under the “Virtual English Language Educator Program, Ukraine” program with the assistance of the US Embassy in Ukraine. Within the framework of this project, the professor of the College of New Jersey, Dr. Stuart Carroll, joined the teaching of English to 1st-year students majoring in International Law. The “International Law” educational program involves intensive foreign language training, so out of 6 classroom hours per week, 2 hours are spent by our students working with Dr. Carroll.
On November 28, Alison Didak, a professor of family law at University College London, joined the class. Ms. Alison detailed the content of individual articles of the European Convention on Human Rights and answered the students’ questions. The lecture was informative and practically oriented.
