From September 27 to 29, the senior lecturer of the Department of Fundamental Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law, Victoria PANKRATOVA, took part in the BUP Change Project workshop 2023, which was organized within the framework of the Baltic University Program (BUP) together with the Riga Technical University (Riga, Latvia).
The workshop is part of the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Higher Education training course for teachers. Twenty-one participants from 8 countries (Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Ukraine) took part in the event.
Different teaching methods were presented at the workshop. In particular, they promote ideas through teamwork, associations, and non-standard thinking. A significant part of the workshop was devoted to developing a change project based on sustainable development goals. A critical stage was the development of this project and its presentation and evaluation by other participants. Everyone could add their comments or express their vision of the idea. This approach is practical because it allows you to evaluate your view from the standpoint of other participants representing various scientific fields.
