Foreign lawyer – practitioner met with students majoring in “Law” and “International Law” On September 6, 2021, students majoring in Law and International Law met with a lawyer currently practicing in the United States. Vitaliy Korobov, a 2013 graduate of the Sumy State University School of Law, currently works in the United States in two main areas: assistance to migrants arriving in the country (International Repatriation and Adaptation Council) and legal advice on cross-border business. (West Coast Diamond Solutions LLC). He stressed the high quality of education at Sumy State University and noted that studying at the Institute of Law gave him a strong start in his legal career. In addition, he is a member of the Council of Employers, created for the specialties of the Institute of Law. Vitaly Korobov told students about the peculiarities of legal education and practice in the United States, shared his personal experience as a lawyer, and gave some advice to students on building a successful legal career. The speech provoked a lively discussion and many questions from the participants of the meeting. We thank Mr. Vitaly for a meaningful and interesting lecture and we hope to continue fruitful cooperation.
