Today, one of the most hard and important tasks for you is to choose a profession that you will devote your entire life to. From this fateful choice depends on what the future and the next life will be.
The legal profession is one of the oldest and most respected. In spite of the general opinion, there are many lawyers, but there are not many real professionals. Currently, this profession is very promising. However, it should be noted that the Academic and research institute of law trains specialists in 2019 with specialties: 081 “Law”, 293 “International Law” and 032 “History and Archeology”. So, you can choose a specialty on your choice.
We are convinced that it is important not to complete the university, but most importantly, to receive quality education and skills that will ensure a promising future.
Academic and research institute of law is a relatively young institute since it was founded on the basis of the faculties of Sumy State University and the Ukrainian Academy of Banking in 2016. However, the faculty of the ESI of Law ensures that students receive high quality and highly qualified education. More than 50% of the teaching staff have practical experience in the legal field (in particular, law enforcement agencies, attorneys, legal advisers at enterprises). The quality of education that students receive from the NII Law is confirmed by the fact that our graduates are successful in the labor market.
There are 4 departments in the Institute of Law: Administrative, Economical right and Financial Economic Security; criminal law and procedure; international, European law and civil law, as well as constitutional law, theory and history of state and law. Our institute has everything in order to receive not only education for Bachelor’s degree, but also to continue studying for Master’s degree in specialty 081 “Law”. You will be able to choose the direction and the educational and professional program that will be closer and more interesting to you: “Jurisprudence”, “Intellectual Property” and “Medical Law”. Later, you will be able to continue your postgraduate and doctoral studies. Specialized Scientific Council D 55.051.07 operates in the Scientific Research Institute with the right of admission to the consideration and defense of the dissertations for the degree of Doctor (Candidate of Sciences) in the specialty: 12.00.07 – Administrative Law and Process; finance law; information law.
The Academic and research institute of law has all the conditions for qualitative training of specialists. In particular, it is already traditional for the education of our students on the program “included semester” in the western universities (Italy, Slovak Republic, People’s Republic of China, Lithuania and Latvia). There is also the opportunity to obtain a double diploma by studying under a joint Ukrainian-Bulgarian master’s program. Students can study at two universities at once: Sumy State University and Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”.
In parallel with your studies, you will be able to develop and express yourself as a person by participating in cultural, artistic, sports, volunteer activities.
